Overall the food is good, but there is room for improvement. The food were all cooked nicely, although a lot of seafood dishes tasted similarly in terms of the sauce. The food motions were generally individual portions. I would say the jellyfish starter and sea cucumber dish stood out to me. Service could also be improved. It seems there were only 2 senior staff with the rest being older workers mainly focused on just bringing plates from the kitchen. This meant longer waiting times to be served as sometimes the main staff is busy at other tables. And dishes came out in a random order as well instead of in a flow, with awkward long gaps between some dishes. For a full service restaurant with the prices they have, I think the standard was below average.

A Sunday lunch. Restaurant is fully booked. Means good food awaits. Commendable is the baked chicken dish. I have not seen a chicken cuisine with ample loading of stir-fried spring onions, ginger and shallots. I love this as I am a fan of fresh spring onions — that crunch and springiness. The pieces of cut chicken is so meaty and tender. Just right for my palate: not so salty. The Prawns with dried olives is a tad salty but credit goes to the huge pieces of “crunchy” prawns indicating freshness. For dessert, I had the glutinous black sesame balls in ginger soup. Looks normal but upon tasting it, all these are made in-house. The rice balls have such a soft texture, not chewy, yet it does not break easily for the black sesame to ooze out. The blended black sesame has that roasted flavour too. Definitely made with love. An overall satisfactory lunch. Their service is above par which should be set as a benchmark for all other Chinese cuisine restaurants in Singapore.

Good food, nice ambience, great service! Nice range of dim sum on the menu that is pretty good. Also offers a good number of Cantonese dishes. The steamed turbot was fabulously done. The roast meats are really good too. Staff service is attentive and helpful.

Had the set dinner. Fish was fresh and delicious. Doneness was perfect. The sauce was perhaps a tad salty but still good. Egg white crabmeat thing was too bland and boring - forgettable dish. Goose feet and noodles were pretty good too. Nothing to complain about. We also ordered a 姜葱crab. Had some trouble deciding on the sauce and the staff (one of the managers) was of no help despite us asking for recommendations. Thankfully the dish turned out great. Service on the whole was borderline annoying. Dishes were served too fast and they had to take out some plates to cover our dishes to keep ‘em hot cos we haven’t finished the previous one. Typical Chinese restaurant pacing problem. Another major gripe: one of the servers kept on coming over to ask about the food/ make small talk. It was very strange and disruptive. I’m usually quite patient but even I got annoyed. I think anyone would be if every two sentences you have to turn to answer some random question.

One of the best dim sum in Singapore. Had an excellent dining experience overall today, but quite upset to find that my leftovers were squashed in one tiny box. Such a weird thing to do for a fancy restaurant. Kindly train your staff to pack takeaways properly.

Food is exquisite and very good. Service is also impeccable perhaps as my host is a regular here. Only thing was we asked for the soup to be served first but the chicken came first instead. …
